1. General information
The final objective of the subject is to facilitate the incorporation of the student/professional into the health system, enabling them to actively participate in the Management of Nursing Units, promoting professional development in the field of the discipline in the 21st century
These approaches and objectives are aligned with the following Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda of the United Nations ( 2030 Agenda (https://www.un.org/sustainabledevelopment/es/), so that the acquisition of the learning results of the subject provides training and competencies to contribute to some extent to their achievement:

To understand what is the Management and Quality of health services, its dimensions, tools for improvement and cycle of evaluation and continuous improvement.

To identify the main problems related to patient safety. FMEA tools and Root Cause Analysis.

5. Assessment system
1. Tutorial evaluation: this test consists of the completion of an individual work.
a. Description The work will consist in the elaboration of a critical note -based on the critical thinking- of
250 words Times New Roman size 12 with double spacing, on any quality improvement in health. This project can be developed using the practical examples given in class. For its elaboration, it must be adapted to the methodology proposed by the Aragonese Health Service (SALUD), in the annual calls of the program to support quality improvement initiatives.
b. Levels of demand: the work must achieve an overall grade of at least 50% of what is established.
If this grade is not reached, it is considered that the minimum requirements have not been met.
c. Weighting on the final grade: 3 points out of 10. In order to pass the subject, students must achieve at least 1.5 points in this test.
2. Group work: It will be carried out in groups of 10 students.
a. Description. After the group has chosen a topic -always related to the management and administration of Nursing- the students will analyse together a possible plan for improvement in healthcare.
This group work will be analysed by the students with bibliographical references about the subject it deals with.
b. Levels of demand: the work must achieve a minimum grade of 50% of what has been established.
c. Criteria The evaluation criteria will be the following: - Expository clarity and synthesis capacity. - Reasoning used to assess the significance and relevance of the information notice.
d. Weighting on the final grade: 1 point out of 10. In order to pass the subject, students must achieve at least 0.5 points in this test.
3. Multiple-choice exam: in relation to the contents of the face-to-face sessions of the subject
a. Description: Written exam with 30 multiple-choice questions (5 possible answers and only one correct answer) on the contents of the face-to-face sessions.
b. Level of demand: Levels of demand: the work must achieve a minimum grade of 70% of what has been established.
c. Evaluation criteria: Incorrectly answered questions will not subtract from the overall grade
of the exam.
d. Weighting on the final grade: 6 points out of 10. In order to pass the subject, students must achieve at least 4.2 points in this test.
According to the regulations in force, the results obtained will be graded according to the following numerical scale from 0 to 10, to one decimal place, to which the corresponding qualitative grade may be added:
- From 0 to 4.9: Fail (S)
- From 5 to 6.9: Passed (A)
- From 7 to 8.9: Notable (N)
- From 9 to 10: Outstanding (SB)
